This Privacy Policy outlines how Baking Element Limited, along with its parent, subsidiary and/or affiliated companies (“we”, “us”,“our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data. This applies when you interact with us  whether through our website, mobile application, and physical locations. By using our services or providing us with your personal data, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. [Our website, mobile application and any of our membership schemes are only intended for people over the age of 18. The types of personal data we collect or capture from you depend on the nature of your interactions with us. We may collect or automatically capture personal data from you in any of the following circumstances:
•    when you register as a member of Bakehouse Club;
•    when you pre-order or purchase goods or services from us;
•    when you accumulate or redeem points under Bakehouse Club Reward Scheme (“RewardScheme”);     
•    when you subscribe to our newsletter;
•    when you communicate with us for enquires, orders or feedback;
•    when you use our website and mobile application or visit our official pages on social media sites;
•    when you participate in our surveys or events; and
•    when you apply for a position with us

Depending on the specific dealings you have with us, we maycollect or automatically generate the following personal data from you:

•    your personal details including name, gender, month and year of birth, email address and telephone number;
•    your work experience, education background and skills;
•    your business information including company name, business title, and associated contact information;
•    your transaction records including credit or debit or other charge cards or payment information (e.g., name of cardholder, card number, card type and its issuer, card expiry date), billing information, delivery details (e.g. name of recipient, contact details, delivery address, pickup location) and purchasing history;
•     your Bakehouse Club membership and Reward Scheme records including membership number, earning, redemption and balance of points and any other activities to your accounts;  
•     records of correspondence between you and us through email, instant text message, telephone and in-person interactions;
•     your interests, preferences, comments and responses to the goods and services you purchase, captured during surveys or events; and
•     information when you use our website and mobile application including browser details, IP address, location information (see Section 7 Cookies for details).

The personal data we collected or captured is used to:

•    administer and operate any of our membership clubs or loyalty or reward programmes, including creating, updating and verifying your identity and eligibility to participate in the Reward Scheme, processing points issue and redemption, completing transactions, sending you updates and benefits about theReward Scheme;
•    provide you with our goods and services, including processing and delivering your order for purchases through our online platforms and physical locations;
•    send you relevant marketing and promotional materials, subject to your preferences. For further details, please see Section 3 Direct Marketing;  
•    perform research or statistics analysis in order to enhance or optimise our goods and services and for sales and marketing purposes;  
•    handle and follow up on your enquires, orders, concerns, complaints and requests;
•    carry out surveys, games, lucky draws which you have voluntarilyentered;
•    comply with legal obligations, conduct investigation, handle or defend claims, obtain legal and professional advice, and resolve disputes;
•    handle other incidental or associated purposes relating to the above or any other purposes which you may from time to time agree; and
•    match you with available job opportunities, proceed with recruitment and maintain you as a qualified candidates.

We ensure that personal data is collected for legitimatepurposes and processed fairly and lawfully.

2. Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to or with third parties. To facilitate our processing of your personal data in accordance with Section 1 Collection and Use of Your Personal Data, we may disclose, transfer, grant access or share your personal data with the following third parties located in Hong Kong or elsewhere:

•    any of our affiliated companies;
•    any agents, contractors or third party service providers that provide administrative, marketing, research, distribution, customer support, communication, data processing, information technology, payment, human resources, legal, accounting, professional or other services to support our business operation;
•    any actual or proposed assignees or purchasers of all or any part of our business and/or asset of our affiliated companies; and/or
•    any competent court of law, law enforcement agencies and/or regulatory bodies.

We may also share information or statistics with third parties in an aggregated or anonymised form that does not directly relating to you for marketing, research and statistical purposes.

We will respond to your requests in a timely manner. In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong, we have and reserve the right to charge you a reasonable fee for the processing of any access request.

Subject to any legal, statutory, regulatory or accounting requirements, we retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.  Your data will be securely deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.
